Quality and assurance
Procurement teams have to check this before they can buy. Rather than make you phone us, here is the position in plain terms, including the parts that are not a selling point.
What delegates receive
A certificate of attendance from Innovative Special Projects, issued in the delegate's name and showing the programme, the dates and the facilitator. It records that the person attended and completed the course.
What that certificate is not
It is not an accredited qualification, and we do not currently advertise accreditation with a SETA, the QCTO or any professional body. We would rather say that here than let you find out after a purchase order has been raised.
If your organisation specifically requires an accredited qualification, or credits towards a professional designation, tell us before booking. We will say honestly whether we are the right provider for that requirement, and we are comfortable telling you when we are not.
How we assure quality
- Facilitators are selected on practice, not on availability
- Every programme is delivered by somebody who has held the role. Where we cannot staff a course properly, we say the date is not available rather than putting a weaker facilitator in front of your people.
- Material is reviewed against current practice
- Frameworks move. IFRS, ISO standards, the PFMA and the Companies Act all change, and course material that quotes a superseded position is worse than no material.
- Delegates are asked, and we act on it
- Feedback is collected at the end of every course. Where a programme scores badly it is rewritten or withdrawn, not quietly rescheduled.
- We keep group sizes workable
- A facilitator has to be able to notice who has stopped following. That constrains how many people we will put in one room, including when a client would prefer more.
